India

India the 7th largest country in the world by the area covered and 2nd largest populous country in the world. This is a diversified country and has several languages, culture, Ethnicity and religious differences.

India has a rich history behind since the beginning. The northern part has protected by the mighty Himalayas who protect us from cold breeze of Siberia and protected us from foreign invaders from ages. One of the oldest civilization immerges here in the valley of Indus river in Harappa and Mohenjodaro. The Aryans came here from middle east and settled here in the banks of Mighty Ganges river and they have flourished in every aspect of life such as education, science and other cultural aspects.

India is a land of religions. Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism and also India has a largest Muslim population of the world.

As India is a place for multilingual ,multicultural and multireligious country so the term “Unity in a Diversity “ is the appropriate phrase about it.

India is sharing its borders with Pakistan and Afganisthan in the west , China ,Bhutan and Nepal in north,Bangladesh and Mayanmaar to the East and Srilanka in its South. Most of the lower part is surrounded and guarded by Indian Ocean with Arabian sea and Bay of Bengal.

India is a riverine country.Main river is ‘ or Ganga’ or ‘Ganges” is the main river which feeds our people and almost 70% of India’s population is directly or indirectly depended on Ganges. Other than Ganges we have Jamuna and Bromhoputra also has a significant role in our socio-economic conditions. In Decan region Normoda,Godavari,Krishna and Kaveri are the main rivers which feeds people in the southern and western region.

Moreover India is a country which has a Snow capped mountain in the north, Oceans In the south , Desert in Rajasthaan and dense jungles in almost every part. India becomes a biological hotspot and ancient cultural epicenter.

So from the ancient time traveler like Ibon Botuta , Fa Hien, Hue en Sang , Al Beruni,Marco polo and Megasthenese came to India and mixed up with our culture and wrote about their valuable observations on India.
