Bunkulung Eco Hut
Even if you have stayed in valley of Himachal or Kalimpong, Bunkulung’s valley is the most interesting among all those himalayan hamlets and offbeats. Bunkulung, the beautiful valley of Bengal, only 16 km away from Mirik the place itself is amazing by its Geography. The small decorated colorful house, the proximity of simple people and the slope of the hill make a permanent settlement in the mind. Even though it is so far away, this village is far ahead in education, most of the houses are built in a very aesthetic way ….. Bunkulung Eco Hat in one corner of the village .. In this kingdom of flowers and the chirping of birds will make your day. The scene of the BeeEaters taking nectar in front of your eyes is really impeccable. The narrow road by the side of Echo Hut went through the village towards jungle, after few minutes you can find a different world altogether. The bird eye view of the village gives immense pleasure. At a stone’s throw distance from Echo Hat, river Murma is flowing by and an iron bridge over it, gives an enchanting environment. To hear the sound of Murma khola in a quiet environment is so heavenly that you will forget everything. It just a thirty minutes’ walk through the tea garden to Balasun river .. The view of Balasun flowing over the Gammon Bridge is not to be forgotten. The rooms of Bunkulung Eco hut is clean and atmosphere is very much homely that you can easily visit here with family and friends.
