Itinerary

Transfers Sightseeing Stay Dinner
OUTLANDER welcomes you to the Sundarban Tiger Reserve, biggest Mangrove forest and a World Heritage site declared by UNESCO in the year 1985 and was made a biosphere Reserve in 1989. The journey will start in the morning at 8:30 AM from Esplanade (Near K.C.Das Confectionery) and dep.at 09:00am . Packed Breakfast will be served on the way with a brief stopover for tea and refreshments. At midday, you arrive at Godkhali Jetty where you will be greeted by our local guide and transferred to the boat . We cruise through rivers Gomor, Durgadhwani to enter River Pitchkhali ,on the bank of which lies our resort overlooking the Sunderban Tiger Reserve (Total Journey: 5 Hours [Road 3 Hours: Boat 2 Hours). On your arrival you will be greeted by our team and checked into our Resort . Hot lunch will be served at our dining hall or boat After lunch you watch Birds Island and the Sunset in the distant horizon. We return to the resort to refresh and join us for Tea with snacks by the evening to watch Adivasi dance performed by the tribal people of Sunderbans. They show happiness and hardships in their lives through dance. A warm dinner will be served in the dining hall at 8:30 PM.
Breakfast Sightseeing Stay Dinner Transfers
Sundarban Tiger Reserve Wake up at 6:00 AM with a hot cup of tea served on your room .After breakfast you cruise through the creeks and canals of the Sunderban Tiger Reserve forest to Sajnekhali Watchtower and Mangrove Interpretation Centre.( Visitors are not allowed at Watch Tower) Refresh and board a thrilling cruise towards Dobanki WatchTower as we move into the Sundarban Tiger Reserve Forest through creeks and dense forest and numerous rivers . The canopy walk at Dobanki WatchTower inside the forest sends chills down your spine. After that we visit Panchamukhani, Pirkhali, Gajikhali by Boat which we cruise back through Matla – Sea Face (the point from where Bay of Bengal can be seen). Lunch will be served on boat. After Lunch we will start searching for some beautiful resident birds in the jungle and after experiencing beautiful sunset on the river we will Back to the resort for refreshments followed by a Baul Folk song and dinner at 9:00 PM.

Sundarban Tiger Reserve – Today will Wake up at 6 AM with a hot cup of tea in the morning. After breakfast, you will experience the true Sunderban, as you walk through the native village. You will encounter many wonderful sights as you learn about the lifestyle, local crafts, cuisines, and way of life of the local villagers. Observe their indigenous farming methods and mud houses made with small entrances. Check out will be at 9 AM. On the way visit to Sudhanyakhali Watchtower. Lunch is served on board. Walk to the disembarking towards the watchtower, searching for the elusive tiger. Keep a look at the sweet water pond where you may sight a deer drinking water or a water monitor lizard basking by the sun as well as monkeys and wild boars may be sighted nearby. I f time permits will visit Rabindranath Tagore Bungalow After lunch around 12 Noon and you will be transferred back to Godkhali.for the return Journey

Government Covid Guidelines for Forest Tour Package

  • No visitor will be allowed to step in any camp, watch tower, Jetty etc. of Sundarban Tiger Reserve.
  • All entries and exist of visitors (on board) will be limited from Sunrise to sunset.
  • Guests aged less than 10 years or more than 65 years are advised to travel as per Restriction regulations/guidelines in vogue.
  • Wearing of face cover and following all norms of social distancing are mandatory for all guests.
  • To ensure social distancing, sitting capacity / tourist capacity shall be reduced by 50% in all water craft.

    • Force Majeure Clause:-
    If tour is cancelled due to Natural Calamities/Political Disturbances/Government protocols
    before the scheduled departure, a credit note for the advance amount will be issued which can be
    adjusted with the next Sundarban Tour as per availability within 12 months.

    THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND DURING SUNDARBAN TOUR

  • Carry sunglasses, hats and sunscreen lotion during your Sundarban Trip.
  • Wear light cotton dress preferably with colour Green, Ash, light Brown.
  • Wear tied shoes preferably gumboots.
  • Carry medicines for cough, cold & fever etc.
  • Drink only Filtered water, Mineral water or Coconut water.
  • Carry torch with spare batteries.
  • Carry spare batteries for your cameras as recharging facilities is limited.
  • Carry Binoculars to view distant animals and landscapes.
  • Maintain silence when you are watching any animals during your Sundarban Trip.
